•CURRENT CANON POINT: Page 7740, as the Condesce blows up Derse's moon and kills him and Roxy
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Since Homestuck characters are all pretty malleable appearance-wise, some of this is headcanon.
Dirk is a black teenager on the average size height-wise, fairly skinny due to a lifetime of malnutrition. He has blond hair that he keeps straightened and gelled up in a "cool anime hairdo" (really it just looks extremely dorky). He has orange eyes, though they're usually covered by his "cool" triangle-shaped sunglasses, and he has a hideous tattoo on his right shoulder. The JPEG artifacts aren't from the image itself, they are literally part of the tattoo.
He dresses in a fairly casual manner, t-shirts and jeans and the like, but for those who pay close attention there's a lot of care put into the way he looks. Dirk is fairly big on appearances. He tries to give off an aura of a cool bro who doesn't care what other people think (even though he totally does).
For those who would notice, he generally smells of clean more than anything. He's very meticulous.
•DEMEANOR: Dirk tries to be aloof, generally. His poker face is pretty good, but if he's particularly emotional it becomes fairly easy to read him. Some of his mannerisms seem almost mechanical in nature, a result of having had to teach himself to interact with people through TV and movies since he grew up in complete isolation.
He has an extremely generic American accent; the sort of accent your average American would think of when thinking of someone speaking with "no accent". Another result of growing up with only pop culture to help shape his speech patterns.
•ABILITIES: He's pretty good with robotics/mechanical work, computer programming, and swordplay. As far as supernatural abilities go he doesn't really have anything of note available on the Barge.
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: Dirk hasn't had much exposure to your standard germs, so he's probably more susceptible to colds and the like than your average kid his age. Nothing else really special.
•CABIN INFORMATION: His bedroom is described here. His door is a pretty standard white wooden door of the sort you'd find in an American apartment building.
•OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: There are some subjects he'd rather not broach (talking about rehabilitation, people trying to compliment him, romance -- all touchy subjects), but none he finds "offensive" per se.
IC PERMISSIONS:
•MENTAL: Absolutely. The only thing they might have trouble with is emotional manipulation, which he may be able to resist due to Heart abilities or whatever. This is on a case by case basis, though, so talk to me if you want something to happen! All other mental abilities should work just fine.

•VIOLENCE: Definitely, just ask me if you want anything severe to happen.
•MAGIC: Yep.
•DEBATE: Yes, though whether he'll be up for it ICly depends on the circumstances.
