[ Wait, why the hell did he do that? Dirk is kicking himself for most of the day after he sends those cards.

And then it's the eleventh and... well. The goatee is terrible, but he has no idea how to shave and it should only last for a few days, anyway. More than that he needs to get out of his cabin and actually interact! This is suddenly a thing he is very sure of.

So Dirk can be found in the library, in the garden, in the galley... pretty much anywhere other people can be found, eager to chat up a storm. He lingers particularly long in the cybernetic maintenance facility. ]
